The 2010 Soccer DTS began the first week of January! The DTS accompanied our base to the YWAM southern cone conference in Santiago, Chile last week and is now back on base and in class again. This year´s DTS students are from Argentina, The U.S., Canada, Colombia, Australia and Mexico. The school will end in July after an outreach to South Africa during the World Cup. La EDE de Fútbol 2010 comenzó la primera semana de enero! La EDE acompaño a nuestra base a la conferencia de JuCUM Cono Sur en Santiago la semana pasada. Ahora está de vuelta en la base y en clase. Los estudiantes de esta escuela son de Argentina, EE.UU, Canadá, Colombia, Australia y Mexico. La escuela termina en julio despues de una cruzada a sudáfrica durante La Copa Mundial.

Lizzi y Laura Pete and Julio with the youth/Pete y Julio con los jovenes New Years Day a contingent from YWAM Mendoza boarded an overnight bus to Cordoba, Argentina to attend the annual "Red Mundial de Misiones" transcultural missions conference. Among the group attending from Mendoza was the transcultural missions school that has recently begun the outreach portion of the school. YWAM Mendoza attended and worked the conference helping out with the youth and teenagers program as well as the intercessors and mobilizers conference workshops. Running parallel to the intercessors and missions mobilizers conference was the transcultural missionaries conference. Missionaries from Argentina serving in all corners of the world attended the week long conference providing them a time of fellowship with other missionaries, an opportunity to add more "tools to their belt" during the workshop and to enjoy relaxing in a beautiful setting. Please excuse the tardiness in posting a blog! We have been super busy with the holidays and conferences since Semana Diferente ended. We've attended two conferences since the beginning of January. New Year's Day we headed to Cordoba, Argentina for a Transcultural Missions Conference held by "Red Mundial" and on the 12th we headed to Santiago, Chile for a YWAM Conference for the southern cone of South America. Bases from Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay were represented. ....back to Semana Diferente. This year we saw God work tremendously in the Huarpe community. For one week the base hosted over 700 participants from the Huarpe community and over 150 volunteers. The community was very open this year, both in relationship and in hearing the gospel. There were activities for all age groups...sports, games, spa/salon, a baby shower, a Ronald McDonald visit, rafting and climbing, an overnight married couples retreat to the mountains, fun in the po
