Hola Mendoza!

Last Wednesday we hosted a Missions Dinner in San Martin, in the church “Jesu Cristo Plentitud de Vida”. Some 75 guests enjoyed a night of delicious food from India and China, games and presentations, in order to raise finances for the trip of the Mission School and Team Impact to India. It was a great success and we were blessed tremendously! As well, this week we’ve cleaned the pool again! With the high temperatures that we’re experiencing we’re very thankful that we’re able to jump in when it gets too hot. Miercoles pasado organizamos una cena de Misiones ,en San Marti n, en la Iglesia “JesuCristo Plentitud de Vida”. Unos 75 invitados disfrutaron de una noche con comida deliciosa de India y China, juegos y presentaciones. Todo fue para juntar finanzas para el viaje de la Escuela de Misiones y el Equipo Impacto, hacia India. Fue un exito y fuimos bendicidos en gran manera! Hace mas que una semana dimos el bienvenido a los 15 estudiantes de la EDE de Futbol en la apertura. “Unidad en la Diversidad” es el lema de este escuela y realmente lo pudimos ver reflejado en los diferentes paises del origen: Ecuador, Argentina, Canada, los Estados Unidos y Brazil. Como Mision estamos muy emocionado por este tiempo. Tenemos muchas espectativas de todas las cosas maravillosas y profundas que Dios va a hacer en las vidas de los estudiantes y el staff. More than a week ago already we welcomed the 15 students of the Soccer DTS during the openings ceremony. “Unity in Diversity” is the theme of this school and we could see it nicely reflected in the different countries of origin: Ecuador, Argentina, Canada, the United States and Brazil. As Mission we are really excited about this time. We are full of expectation of all the wonderful and profound things God is going to do in the lives of the students and staff!

La semana pasada fuimos a Córdoba, para ayudar en el Retiro Misioneros Transculturales 2011. Parte del equipo trabajó con los adolescentes y la otra parte en la organización de “movilizadores e intercesores”. Esta semana de relajamiento y comunión es organizado por los misioneros y sus familias que están sirviendo en el campo misionero alrededor del mundo. Fue una semana donde compartieron sus experiencias, contaron sus historias y renovaron fuerzas para el nuevo año. Estamos muy agradecidos que pudimos ser parte de este Retiro y todas las cosas que Dios está haciendo en la vida de cada persona y a través de las vidas de nuestros hermanos y hermanas en el campo misionero. Blessings! We hope you all had a great Christmas and New Years, celebrating with your loved ones! Here at the Mission we had some busy weeks getting all prepared to celebrate the Holidays all together. We cleaned out the pool, which wasn’t the prettiest job but definitely worth it! We were very thankful we could jump in to find some refreshment on the hot days. Christmas Eve and New Years Eve we had a lovely dinner and the next day we enjoyed a great barbeque. Last week the Outreach teams left for the South of Argentina, Central America and Chile. God has been so faithful in finances and all the paperwork that had to be done! After a day of fasting and prayer we raised a tremendous offering and we were able to buy almost all the tickets that were needed, glory to God! Please keep praying for the teams in this time!
