Hola Mendoza!

Nayda celebrated her 40th birthday this past Saturday! We managed to surprise her really good! She wasn't expecting a thing. We had a great time, ate a ton and had a laugh or two with karaoke. Nayda celebró su cumpleaños de 40 este Sabado pasado! Pudimos sorprenderla bien con la fiesta. No sospechaba nada. Nos disfrutamos mucho, comimos mucho y nos reimos mucho con la karaoke. Surprise!! It´s been a year now that we´ve returned to having offices in the city center of Mendoza. Our ministerial offices serve to be a meeting point between our missionary community, the church of Mendoza and other organizations. Our aim is to also be an influence in each area of society in our city. Here are just a few of the many faces that help keep our offices, and our base on the outskirts of the city, running! Hace un año ya que hemos vuelto a tener oficinas en el centro de la ciudad de Mendoza. Nuestras oficinas ministeriales sirven como un lugar de encuentro entre nuestra comunidad misionera, la iglesia y otras organizaciones. Nuestra visión es también poder ser de influencia en cada área de la sociedad. Estas son unas de las muchas caras que ayudan a mantener nuestras oficinas y nuestra base en las afueras de la ciudad. Here's a pic of the Soccer DTS team that is currently on outreach in South Africa. They have been there for over a month now and still have a month to go! They are in Capetown for the next couple of weeks before heading back to Johannesburg. Be praying for them as the World Cup begins! Pray for divine appointments as they reach out to the nations during the World Cup festivities. Aqui es una foto de la EDE de Futbol que actualmente está de cruzada en Sudáfrica. Ya han estado alla por un mes y todavia les queda un mes! Estan en Ciudad de Cabo por unas semanas mas y de alli vuelvan a Johannesburgo. Esten orando por ellos mientras comienza el Mundial. Oren que tienen citas divinas mientras ministran a las naciones durante las actividades del Mundial.

The church of Mendoza showed up in force last Monday evening to protest the law being passed in favor of legalizing homosexual marriage in Argentina. This law would also make it possible for homosexual couples to adopt children. The church of Mendoza made a public declaration of opposition to the law taking up a position in favor of Argentina´s future generations of children. The declaration stated that God´s original design for the family includes both a mother and a father. The act was culminated in prayer for Mendoza´s regional congress buildings.
