El viernes 4 de Mayo realizaremos una cena especial en nuestra base en el Borbollón. El motivo es dar a conocer el proyecto España, poder tener un tiempo de intercesión por esta nación, compartir lo que haremos,  disfrutar de un show y degustar de deliciosas tapas Españolas.  El costo de la entrada es 40 pesos. Send off to bless Spain! // Enviados para ir y bendecir a España!

This Sunday we have send off the soccer DTS! They will be spending 2 months in Spain to complete their practical part of the school, working with churches, doing evangelism and reaching out to the people with the Gospel! The other part of the team will be joining them soon. Este domingo hemos enviado al equipo de la EDE de Fútbol! Ellos van a estar por 2 meses en España para terminar con su parte práctica de la escuela, trabajando con iglesias, haciendo evangelismo y alcanzando a la gente con el Evangelio! La otra parte del equipo va a sumarse pronto a ellos!

Hey everyone! This time we would like to show you some pics of what we have been doing in the CIC of Borbollón (the community centre or our neighbourhood). On international women´s day we hosted a tastefull breakfast for the women with coffee and tea. A great time of sharing with each other! As well we have been giving workshops on different topics like for example anorexia and boulimia. More photos will follow on the work we have been doing in the neighbourhood of Santo Tomas! ¡Hola a todos! Esta vez queremos mostrarles algo de lo que estamos haciendo en el CIC Borbollón (Centro Integrador Comunitario). En el día internacional de la mujer preparamos un rico desayuno para las mujeres. Fue un lindo tiempo para compartir entre nosotras! También estamos dando talleres sobre diferentes temas (ej. anorexia y bulimia). Mas adelante mostraremos también algunas fotos del trabajo que estamos haciendo en el barrio Santo Tomas!

Resurrection service and breakfast at sunrise! // Culto de Resureccion y desayuno al amanecer!

Last Sunday we celebrated Jesus resurrected with a service and worship time at our base at sunrise. It was a very special time in which we celebrated together as a family that Jesus had the victory over death and lives today, while the sun was coming out. Afterwards we enjoyed a delicious and abundant breakfast, God is faithful! Domingo pasado celebramos que Jesús resucitó con un culto y un tiempo de alabanza en nuestra base al amanecer. Fue un tiempo muy especial en que celebramos juntos como familia que Jesús tenia la victoria y que El vive hoy!  Después disfrutamos un desayuno delicioso y abundante, Dios es fiel!

Ropes Course Mendoza has arrived! / / Curso de Cuerdas Mendoza llego!

As previously announced we started building our very own ropes course! Sue and Jeff from YWAM Salem, Oregon and Salomon from Brazil (YWAM Curitiva) joined our Sports Ministry for a week to get us started on the low circuit with its different elements. Cables have been cut, ropes have been knotted and the ropes course starts to take shape! As well, we started one part of the high circuit, 13 meters up in the trees! This week we officially inaugurated the course and our staff and students were the first ones to get some experience. It challenges us to grow in leadership, face our fears, trusting others, following orders and being responsible for others! We will keep you updated on any further progress! Easter Celebration at Godoy Cruz square // Celebración de Pascua en la plaza de Godoy Cruz

Last Sunday and Thursday we took part in the Easter celebration at the Godoy Cruz square, organized by the “Church of the city”. There were dramas showing the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and together with 500 others we took part in the last supper as Jesus had it, including the lamb. We meditated on the meaning of Jesus’ death and resurrection and what that means to us. It was great to be able to celebrate this all togeth er! El domingo y jueves pasados tomamos parte en la celebración de Pascua en la plaza Godoy Cruz, evento organizado por “La Iglesia de la Cuidad”. Hubieron    obras que mostraron la entrada de Jesús en Jerusalén y junto con 500 otras personas tomamos parte en la ultima cena como Jesus la tuvo, incluyendo el cordero. Meditamos en el significado de la muerte de Jesús y su resureccion y lo que representa para nosotros. Fue hermoso haber podido celebrar esto todos juntos!

Graduation School of Frontier Missions 2011-2012 // Graduación de la Escuela de Misiones Transculturales 2011-2012

After 6 months of learning about Frontier Missions and going on Outreach to put everything in practice in India and in the desert of Lavalle, we celebrated the graduation of the students of the School of Frontier Missions (SOFM)! It was great to see and hear of the wonderful things that God has done in and through the lives of the students and staff. In the desert of Lavalle we were able to do a mini DTS for women, visit families and minister to them, hold church services and work among the youth and children, teaching them about God’s values and principles. In India we visited different YWAM Ministries, worked in children’s homes, assisted in church services, visited leper-colonies and preached the gospel in unreached villages! As well we visited Argentine missionaries and made them happy with “dulce de leche” and “alfajores” ;)!  And we just have one more thing to tell you……The Mission School is for YOU!!!
