A busy weekend // Un fin de semana lleno de actividades
What a busy weekend it has been!
Friday night we kicked it off with another Coffee Night: selling delicious desserts, a garage sale and obviously having a great time laughing about all the funny videos that were made. Thanks to all of you who joined us this evening, we had a blast!
Saturday evening we took off with the Arts ministry to celebrate the International Day of Youth with Christian Values, an initiative of the organisation "OneWorld". Some of us went to San Martin where we presented dramas in Pastor Corvelo´s church and others went to the central square in Rivadavia. There we presented some dramas and performed with the drum line until midnight, when we officially declared the Day (10-10-10). And as a surprise Sabrina spat fire!
Sunday the students and staff of the Sports DTS went for a hike in the hills, organised to raise awareness for cancer patients. The students came back tired but satisfied with great and enthusiastic reports! Great job guys!
Que fin de semana tuvimos, lleno de actividades!
Viernes por la noche empezamos con otra Noche de Café: vendiendo postres deliciosos, una feria americana y obviamente nos divertimos mucho de todo los videos que hicimos. Gracias a todos ustedes que estuvieron juntos a nosotros, disfrutamos muchisimo!
Sabado por la noche salimos con el Ministerio de Artes para celebrar el "dia internacional de jovenes con valores cristianos", una iniciativa de la organización "OneWorld" ("UnMundo"). Un grupo fue a San Martin donde presentamos algunas obras en la iglesia del pastor Corvelo y el resto fue a la plaza principal en Rivadavia. Allí presentamos algunas obras y tocamos con la murga hasta medianoche. Sabrina nos sorprendió lanzando fuego!
Domingo los estudiantes y el staff de la EDE de Deportes realizaron una caminata en los cerros. Volvieron cansados pero satisfechos, entusiasmados y con muy buen reporte! Buen trabajo chicos!
