In Argentina alone, there are over 700 women and girls in the network of human trafficking for exploitation.
There are officially 3,000 sweatshops in the Federal Capital of Buenos Aires, and 15,000 throughout Gran Buenos Aires, Rosario, Mendoza and Cordoba, with more than 200,000 victims of forced labor.
After doing various questionnaires, both in our neighborhood and the city center, we saw the need to teach on this subject Prevention of human trafficking starts with awareness. In April 2012, we were able to take a course in prevention and we’re now imparting what he learnt, starting with our local churches, believing that as a church we need to do our part and take a stand.
God has been so faithful in opening doors to places that only He could open, and we continue to pray for complete freedom and restoration for His Beloved children who are subject to exploitation.
