Visita al Campo y Torneo de Futbol // Visit to the Campo and Football/Soccer Tournament

 El fin de semana pasado una caravana de autos salió de nuestra base en Las Heras y viajaron 120 kilómetros a la Posta San Gabriel, donde cada fin de semana tenemos nuestra reunión y donde visitamos a nuestros amigos de la zona. Este domingo fue algo especial, nuestro amigo Chicho organizo un torneo de fútbol para evangelizar a los hombres de la zona, donde estuvimos ayudando y participando con un equipo en el torneo.

En el culto Lucas Artesi compartió un pasaje en Mateo 8:23-26 cuando Jesús calma la tormenta.  Que no importa la tormenta que hay en tu vida, ni la dificultad que estés atravesando, Jesús esta con vos. Después de la iglesia los chicos fueron a la cancha y las chicas se juntaron para almorzar y disfrutar en compañia de las mujeres del lugar.  Los chicos jugaron dos partidos seguidos a pleno sol, donde ganaron el primero, 5 a 2 y el segundo empataron, 2 a 2. Después del partido hubo un “tercer tiempo” donde se compartió acerca de valores y de Cristo. Estamos emocionados de seguir invirtiendo en Lavalle y la comunidad Huarpe.

Last weekend a caravan left our base in Las Heras and headed the 120 kilometers to Posta San Gabriel where every weekend we visit to have church service and spend time with our friends from the area. This Sunday was also special because our friend Chicho is holding a soccer tournament as a way of evangelizing to the guys in the area and he invited us to help him out and enter a team into the tournament.

At our church service Lucas Artesi shared about the story in Matthew 8:23-26 when Jesus clams the storm. That no matter what storm we are living, what ever the difficulty may be, Jesus is with us and he will get us through. After church the boys headed to the pitch and the ladies got together to have lunch and fellowship. The boys played two back-to-back games in the hot sun and won 5-2 and tied 2-2. After all the games were done they had a “third half” to talk about values and Christ. We are excited to continue investing in Lavalle and the Huarpe.
