And that’s how April went by….// Y asi Abril se fue...
Wow, not updating the blog for three weeks makes us realize what an active base we are! So many things happened that we want to tell you about!
From the 6th to the 9th of April we had our Staff retreat. We spend these days together as a family, sharing, listening to devotionals and seeking God in all the projects that are planned for the coming year (and let us tell you: it’s a lot, thanks to God!).
Saturday the 9th of April, we celebrated the international day of the Woman in our neighborhood. The photos that we took during this month of the women in the neighborhood were exposed under the name “Beauty Exposed”. Furthermore the Art ministry presented a choreography.
The week after, one of our long held desires finally was fulfilled: we had a week-long bible study seminary, led by our staff member Carlos from the base in Corrientes in which we studied the letter to the Ephesians. It was a beautiful time and we learned a lot! What a richness there is in the Word! In two more months we hope to continue with the second module.
De 6 al 9 de Abril tuvimos nuestro retiro del obreros. Compartimos como familia, escuchando devocionales, y buscando a Dios juntos en todos los proyectos que estan planificados para este año (y les decimos: es mucho, gloria a Dios!)
Sabado 9 de Abril, celebramos el día internacional de la Mujer en nuestro barrio. Tuvimos la actividad “Belleza Expuesta” de las fotos que sacamos en el barrio. Además, el ministerio de Arte presentó un coreografía.
La semana suiguiente, uno de nuestros anhelos desde hace mucho, fue cumplido: tuvimos el primer módulo del seminario de estudios bíblicos. Carlos, de la base de JuCUM Corrientes, nos enseñó sobre la carta a los Efesios. Fue un tiempo hermoso y aprendimos mucho! Que riqueza hay en la Palabra!En dos meses esperamos tener el segundo módulo.
