La cárcel de mujeres / The womens prison
Cada semana visitamos la cárcel de mujeres en nuestro barrio y queremos contarles algo acerca de todo lo que esta pasando ahí.
La cárcel de mujeres acá en Mendoza es un lugar de angustia, dolor, peleas, drogas, y casi todo lo que puedas imaginar. Vemos que la mayoría de las mujeres que están en este lugar vienen de familias abusivas y destruidas. Muchas de ellas han sido prostituidas por el padre, algún tío, o aún su propia madre. Sus entornos han mostrado que no hay otra opción de vida mas que vender drogas, robar, y prostituirse. Para las internas, el dolor de estar separadas de sus hijos es una constante; pero la luz de Jesús está brillando cada día más fuerte en este lugar de oscuridad. Se está invirtiendo en la vida de varias de estas mujeres comprometidas que están estableciendo el reino de Dios dentro de un lugar tan difícil como este. Su esperanza en Jesús es más fuerte que la realidad que están viviendo. El poder de la transformación que Dios hace, es una de las cosas más impresionantes en la vida. Oremos para que Dios siga manifestando su poder en la cárcel y que Sus valores se establezcan en las familias alrededor del lugar, de Mendoza y de toda la nación Argentina.
Every week we visit the womens prison here in our neighbourhood. We would like to tell you something about the things that are happening there.
The womens prison here in Mendoza is a place of anguish, pain, fights, drugs and almost everything that you can imagine. We can see that the majority of the women that are here come from abusive and destroyed families. A lot of them have be prostituted by their father, an uncle, or even their own mother. Their environment has taught them that there is no other option than just selling drugs, steal and prostitue themselves. For the interns, the pain of being seperated of their children is constant, but the light of Jesus is shining stronger every day in this place of darkness.It is being invested in the lives of varios dedicated women that are establishing the Kingdom of God in such a difficult place. Their hope in Jesus is stronger than the reality that they are living. The power of transformation that God does is one of the most impressive things in life.
Let us pray that God keeps on showing His power in the prison and that His values will be established in the families, Mendoza, and in Argentina.
