Cumpleaños feliz en el comedor! // Happy birthday at the soup kitchen!
El viernes pasado hicimos algo super especial para nuestros
amigos que estan viviendo en situación de calle, en el comedor. Los estudiantes
de la EDE se pusieron a orar y el Señor les habló de festejar los cumpleaños.
Entonces llevaron bandarines, globos, cupcakes, una torta, manteles de
cumpleaños y otras decoraciones para bendecir a la gente. Fue de mucho impacto,
ya que muchos ni se acordaron cuando fue la ultima vez que alguien festejó su
cumpleaños. Encima fue el 25 de Mayo entonces llevamos un rico locro para
compartir. Todos estaban felices y fue una manera bien practica para poder
mostrar que ellos son especiales para el Señor y que Él no los ha olvidado!
Last Friday we did something super special for our friends
that are in a situation of homelessness, in the soupkitchen. The students of
the DTS had prayed the week before and God put on their heart that they should
celebrate the birthdays. So to brought with them decorations, balloons,
cupcakes, a cake, birthday tablecloths to bless the people. It had a big impact
because many of them couldn´t even remember the last time someone had
celebrated their birthday. On top of that it was the 25th of May,
National Argentine Day, and we brought “locro” (a special dish) with us to
share. Everybody was very grateful and it was a very practical way in which we
could show that they are special to the Lord and that He hasn´t forgotten about
them!
