Mural carcel San Felipe // Mural at the San Felipe prison.

El jueves fuimos juntos con algunos estudiantes de la EDE a la cárcel de San Felipe. Fuimos invitados para hacer un mural en el parte de los visitantes. Que justo no? Ya que los estudiantes estuvieron practicando y aprendiendo sobre hacer murales!

Algunos de los internos nos ayudaron y ellos mismos habían elegido el mensaje que era especialmente para sus mamás. También pudimos poner una frase de esperanza, algo motivacional, algo que les pone a pensar. Pudimos no solamente pintar el mural e interactuar con algunos internos pero también pudimos  hablar con la guardia. Otra actividad hermosa que oremos que tenga mucho impacto en la vida de la gente involucrada.

Thursday we went, together with some DTS students, to the San Felipe prison. We were invited to make a mural in the part where the visitors come. What a coincidence no? Right now at the moment the students are practicing and learning about murals!

Some of the interns helped us out and they themselves had chosen the message that would be painted on the wall, a special message for their moms. As well, we put a phrase that expressed hope and ignites motivation, something that would make them think. We weren´t only able to paint the mural an interact with some interns, we also talked to the guards. Another beautiful activity that we pray will have a lot of impact in the lives of the people involved.
