The Frontier Missions School has begun!/¡Ya comenzó La Escuela de Misiones Transcultural!

The much anticipated Missions School has officially begun. Last night we held the opening celebration and welcomed 15 students from seven nations to the second-level YWAM school. Students representing Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, The U.S., England, Sweden and Puerto Rico have begun the challenge of digging deeper into discovering God´s heart and dreams for the nations. The school theory phase is three months and is followed up by a three month outreach phase. This missions school will be spending their three months of outreach traveling through India, China and Central Asia.

Martin Peregrina, the base director, who has recently returned from conferences in England and Cairo, Egypt, shared a challenging word. He shared that we have been called ¨to such a time as this.¨ God has called us and appointed us to bear lasting fruit. Martin shared that the times that follow will be difficult times; we need to prepare ourselves and be trained. But what encourages us in these times is that God´s eyes are placed over our lives and He is our Protector and our Provision.

We pray that this school marks a ¨before and after¨ in each of the students. Many of them will discover God´s dreams and purposes for their lives during this time and others will receive a clearer picture of what God has for them.

La esperada Escuela de Misiones oficialmente ha comenzado. Anoche celebramos la apertura y dimos la bienvenida a 15 estudiantes de siete naciones a esta escuela de segundo nivel de JuCUM. Estudiantes representando Argentina, Brasil, Colombia, EEUU, Inglaterra, Suecia y Puerto Rico han comenzado el desafio de ir mas profundo en discubrir el corazón y los sueños de Dios para las naciones. La etapa teórica de la escuela dura tres meses y se sigue por una cruzada de tres meses. Esta escuela de misiones estará haciendo sus tres meses de cruzada viajando por India, China y Asia Central.

Martin Peregrina, el director de la base quien recién llegó de estar en congresos en Inglaterra y Cairo, Egipto, compartió una palabra desafiante; el que hemos sido llamados, ¨para un tiempo como este.¨ Dios nos llamó y nos comisionó a dar fruto que permanece. Martin compartió que los tiempos que vienen serán tiempos dificiles; necesitamos prepararnos y capacitarnos. Pero lo que nos da animo es que en estos tiempos la mirada de Dios está sobre nuestras vidas y Él es nuestro Protector y nuestra Provisión.

Oramos que esta escuela marque un ¨antes y despúes¨ en cada estudiante. Muchos de ellos descubrirán los sueños y propósitos de Dios para sus vidas durante este tiempo y otros recibirán una visión mas clara de lo que Dios tiene para ellos.
